you want to know a secret

how to build a birdhouse:
make a room, a roof, a hole
step one is to gather all the materials you will need
like nails and glue and sturdy wood
some cedar or some pine will do
now use a hacksaw cut the pieces in a square to keep them in
if a bird flies into your house it’s means a death is imminent
so take a broom to shoo him out the window or just up the chimney
if you do your homework you will see the edges become blurry
the sprinklers flowing
grass is growing big enough for me to climb
and all these things are happening but not at the same time
every variation, iteration is just slightly different
not enough to be considered something that’s completely new
under the sun the eggs are done and making noises on the sidewalk
we will run and jump into the bushes that will hide the nest
and gobble up the fruits and berries that are growing on their branches
there we find the relics of the things that we have left behind.
while caterpillars living in a world that’s built on giant turtles
make cocoons around the bruises when I hit my fingers with the hammer
